Registration for the main Typographics online conference is now open (and free).
The main Typographics conference for 2020 has been moved online, with a recently modified schedule. Thanks to the continued support of our wonderful sponsors, registration is now free of charge.
If registration is sold out, you can still join the waitlist to receive any new tickets or info about alternate public viewing options.
Please note: Registration for the main Typographics conference is separate from the Book Fair, TypeLab, or workshops. You must register for those events separately.
This event has ended.
Registration is no longer available.
Registration for Typographics events constitutes an agreement by you to accept these terms and conditions.
Registration policy for workshops and tours are as follows: Registration must be made via Eventbrite; non-participants pay full price. If you need to cancel, a full refund can be requested up until 5 business days before the start of the workshop or tour. In the case of workshop or tour cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment, tickets will be refunded in full. If you must make non-refundable arrangements to attend (for travel, supplies, etc.), it is recommended that you contact organizers to confirm that there will be sufficient enrollment to run the workshop in advance of purchases. The Cooper Union will not be responsible for expenses incurred to attend workshops.
Requests for refund should be made via Eventbrite. Refunds will be issued by the same means payment was made. No refunds will be given after the deadline of 5 business days prior to the start of the workshop or tour, but you may transfer the place in the workshop or tour to another person by sending an email to type@cooper.edu one business day prior to the event (workshop or tour).
All participants of our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Need Help? Contact cara@cooper.edu, or ask any conference staff to assist. Conference staff and volunteers can be identified by their badges. School security will be in uniform and present throughout the venue.
Please be respectful of all present. Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. If anyone engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff or security immediately.
Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.
