Conference talk

Richard The:

Experiential Typography

Based in Berlin and New York, Studio TheGreenEyl works at the intersection of graphic design, software, and architecture. Working with cultural and commercial institutions, they create situations that allow people to interact, participate and interrogate. To do so they often go beyond existing media and create their own tools and technologies. Their spatial installations often use type in unexpected ways: Type that spans across scales and spaces; type in lighting and in motion; type that is alive and reacts to people. Partner Richard The will share the background and learnings from prior projects, ranging from a participatory sticker installation, spatialized net art and typographic data sculptures.

This talk will take place online, Sunday, July 26, 2020, at 12:30pm (UTC-4), as part of the main Typographics conference schedule. Registration for the conference is free.
